Do I have to be totally vegan to drop healthy vegan food tips??

It’s been the better part of a week since I dropped a vegan food tip, so I’ll start this week of right. The taste of butter was hard for us to give up when going vegan. Not to mention butter’s use in recipes. And big name brand margarines are in many ways worse for you than real butter. Thanks to my friend Sean, we now have a healthy alternative to butter and mainstream margarine for our toast.



Earth Balance ‘Natural Buttery Spread’. Basically tastes just like butter. Find it in the fridge case at Freddies health food dept. Another butter alternative that we love is almond butter (our favorite brand: Kettle Foods).
